Ag Plus Propane FAQs

How can I get an emergency delivery?

If you're running low on propane or are concerned you will run out, please contact your energy service representative.

Can I request a delivery online?

You can schedule deliveries, view and pay invoices, request quotes and more from our Ag Plus Customer Portal. Set up your free account.

What is the out-of-gas policy?

Unfortunately, there may be times when you unexpectedly run out of propane. This could create an unsafe environment for both you and our delivery drivers — especially if these emergency deliveries occur late at night.

IF YOU RUN OUT OF PROPANE GAS YOU SHOULD:

  1. Close the service valve on the propane storage tank
  2. Shut off all appliance valves
  3. Call your propane supplier (Ag Plus Cooperative) immediately

It is imperative that you are present at the building site which ran out of gas, so we can check the entire gas system for leaks and relight any/all pilots.

If we arrive and either there is no one available, we cannot enter the building, or if previous arrangements haven’t been made, we will not fill your tank.

The driver will leave an “Out of Gas” tag instructing you to contact our office to reschedule your appointment. This Return Trip Will Result in an Additional Charge.

The following is the fee schedule for Out-of-Gas situations:

Customers on scheduled deliveries: No charge

Customers on Will-Call or Cash-on-Delivery accounts:

  • After normal business hours or weekends | $150.00* delivery fee + cost of propane
  • Second trip because no one was home as scheduled | $50.00* + cost of propane
  • Third time “Out of Gas” | Propane tank will be removed

• Pressure Testing & System Checks: $50.00*

*These fees do not include charges for repairs or time for an out‐of‐gas system pressure and leak test. See “Pressure Testing and System Checks” for more information.
