October 10, 2025 Edition
Hi there,
Hope harvest is rolling along smoothly for you. We know this time of year brings long days, short nights, and a lot of moving parts. While you’re out there finishing up, here are a few things worth keeping on your radar — quick wins that can make next season a little easier and your operation a little stronger.
Don’t wonder what’s happening in your fields — know. You can get an email, a text, or both when we’ve finished applications on your ground. It’s simple to set up, and you’ll always be in the loop. Learn how: https://agpluscoop.com/field-complete-notifications/
As a reminder now that we have had a light frost, now is good time to spray pastures, CRP, and field edges. A light frost doesn’t mean weeds are done growing. Many perennials are still moving nutrients to their roots — which makes this one of the most effective times of year for a fall herbicide application. Spraying now helps ensure cleaner pastures, CRP, and field edges next spring.
Our agronomists are comparing what’s trending across our trade territory. What yields are you seeing in your best fields? Let’s talk about what’s performing and where you could gain next year.
Accurate data today means smarter fertility decisions later — and better ROI on every acre. See why Ag Plus' SoilIQ gives you better info than your current sampler. https://agpluscoop.com/soil-iq-soil-sampling/
That week, Ag Plus will donate 2¢ per gallon of fuel and $2 per car wash to breast cancer research at Avera and Sanford. Fill up, wash up, and help us make a difference right here in our communities.
Bulk fuel supplies are tight right now. Please allow at least 48 hours’ notice for deliveries so we can keep your tanks full and your combines rolling. A little extra notice helps everyone stay running smoothly. Thanks for your help and for trusting Ag Plus Cooperative to keep your operation moving this harvest season.
We wouldn’t be here without you. Thank you for being a member-owner and for choosing to work with us year after year.
If you’ve got students in high school or college, our internship applications are live now. A great way to get hands-on ag experience close to home. Apply here: https://agpluscoop.com/careers/
Here’s the math: a 1,000-acre grower could save $29,920.47 by financing inputs with Ag Plus vs. a 7.5% bank line of credit. Between better rates and early prepay discounts, the difference isn’t pocket change — it’s real money back in your operation. See the side-by-side breakdown here: https://agpluscoop.com/financing-vs-bank-scenario/
That’s it for this week — a few smart moves that can make a big impact before the season winds down.
Thanks for your patronage,
