What is it?

Unleaded 88 is a blend of 15% ethanol with 85% gasoline (E15). It boasts a slightly higher octane level (88 versus the standard 87), offering better engine performance in modern vehicles. It’s approved for use in all cars, trucks, and SUVs made in 2001 or later

The benefits:

Engine boost — higher octane translates into smoother, smarter performance. Experts like former GM engine developer Dr. Andrew Randolph say today’s engines thrive on Unleaded 88.

Cleaner fuel — reduces toxins and lower greenhouse gas emissions. The higher ethanol content in Unleaded 88 can lead to lower emissions and a cleaner burn, as ethanol is a biofuel that can displace some of the more harmful components found in gasoline.

Wallet-friendly — typically 10¢ cheaper per gallon than regular unleaded.
