Marshall, MN – Ag Plus Cooperative is pleased to announce the appointment of Josh Hilbrands as our new Chief Executive Officer, effective July 29, 2024. With an impressive background in agriculture and cooperative leadership, Josh is set to lead our diverse operations, which include agronomy, energy, convenience stores, and auto shops.

Josh Hilbrands comes to us with a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for agriculture. Growing up on a family farm in Clara City, Minnesota, Josh developed a strong work ethic and a profound understanding of the agricultural industry. His career began early, earning an auctioneering degree at just 14 years old, and he has since built a robust career in various roles within the agricultural sector.

Josh's professional journey includes significant positions at West-Con, South Dakota Wheat Growers, Agtegra, and most recently, New Vision Coop. His expertise in team building, strategic planning, financial management, and innovation and change management will be crucial as Ag Plus Cooperative continues to adapt to market shifts and external factors. His forward-thinking approach and commitment to continuous improvement have earned him a reputation as a leader who embraces innovation and new opportunities. Josh is dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, supporting employee development, and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
